2. Products

All products sold on our website are antiques (books and related items). Due to the nature of antique items, they may have signs of age, wear, and other imperfections. We strive to provide accurate descriptions and photographs, but variations may occur and are not avoidable. Please acknowledge, that the photos provided, are part of the description, but we are not able to picture every little "flaw" or peculiarity of every book or object in our store. We are not claiming to be perfect, so keep in mind, that there is no way, although we are trying to, to display all imperfections. If you buy something from our website, you agree, that you were informed about that. 

3. Order Process

• Orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.

• Upon placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order, only that the inquiry to order was received.

• We reserve the right to cancel any order due to errors in pricing, description, or for any other reason.

4. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are listed in EURO and include VATs  (but NOT the shipping prices or additional taxes, see "5. Shipping and Delivery"), unless stated otherwise.

• We accept the following payment methods: Paypal

• Payment is required in full at the time of purchase.

5. Shipping and Delivery

• Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and can vary in great amount, because we want to give people from various places over the world the chance to place orders. Nevertheless, we don't ship to every country, so we reserve the right, to cancel orders, if the shipping prices or expense would be unreasonable, in our judgement. Please ask about it, in "About Us" if you are unsure, we will find a way, if possible. 

• Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or because of natural causes or misinterpretations or if we don't receive your order due to technical reasons.

• We take GREAT care in packaging items, but we are not liable for any damage incurred during shipping. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days after receiving your order, with photos and a description of the damage.

• Customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes that may apply in their country.

6. Returns and Refunds

• Due to the nature of antique items, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item received is significantly different from the description provided.

• If you wish to request a refund due to an issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item. We will review your request and provide a resolution at our discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

• The Wuthering Emporium is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our website or products, if you purchase them, we assume, that you have knowledge about the nature and sometimes delicate condition of old things and antiques.

• We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by third-party services or shipping carriers.

8. Intellectual Property

• All content on our website, including text, images, and graphics and the combination of those, is the property of  The Wuthering Emporium or a third party, that gave permission, and is protected by copyright law. Unauthorized use of any content is prohibited.

• We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share or sell your personal data to third parties without your consent.

10. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Germany.

• We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the website after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
