“Reality provides us with facts so romantic that imagination itself could add nothing to them.”
― Jules Verne

"Le Chancellor - Journal du Passager J.-R. Kazallon" (english: "The survivors of the Chancellor: Diary of J. R. Kazallon, Passenger"), "Les Cinq Cents Millions de la Bégum, suivi de les révoltés de la "Bounty"" (english: "The 500 Millions of the Begum and the Mutineers of the Bounty") and "Les tribulations d'un Chinois en Chine" (english: "Tribulations of a Chinaman in China") were all written by Jules Verne and published in 1890 by J. Hetzel & Cie. Packed with three adventures, you can experience here: read about the tribulations of a chancellor, of a burning ship floating on the Atlantic, dive into the adventures of Kin-Fo, the chinaman, who wants to escape death, and find yourself on the "Bounty", the legendary ship or in the middle of the rivalry of two cities, with a surprising ending. The unforgettable writing style of Jules Verne makes every book of him a treasure.

These three beautiful little books (18 x 12 cm), with exceptional stories are here presented to you, in a set, clothed in the original red half-leather with gold coloured decorations.

The condition is good, but with signs of wear. The edges and the covers are rubbed and with bumps and scratches, the inner book is a little foxed and comes with a marbled first and last page. Nevertheless, a great addition to every bookshelf or collection.
