„When We Were Very Young" is a lovely little book with beautifully written verses and poems, about youth and the life of "very young" children.
It was written by A.A. Milne and illustrated by Ernest Shepard, published in this edition by Methuen & Co. in London in 1928.
The original blue binding with gilt imprint is in good condition, with some rubbing to boards and edges and some smudging. All illustrations are present and in very good condition, also the ones of the story of "Teddy Bear" which is enriched by illustrations of the first appearance of Winnie the Pooh, which were used as Pooh's standard appearance in the Disney titles.
"When we were very young" is the first one in the book series related to Winnie the Pooh (see also "Now We Are Six").
